Stacey Sweeney

Stacey Sweeney brings over ten years of experience managing marketing programs for emerging technology companies. Whether it is a product launch, organizing a press tour, developing a corporate message or writing collateral, Stacey directs our portfolio companies in the strategies necessary to jump-start a successful marketing program.

Stacey has held senior level marketing positions for high tech companies including Datatel, Network Associates and Trusted Information Systems (TIS). Upon TIS' entry into the technology IPO arena, Stacey built and managed the marketing communications team that was responsible for lead generation, corporate identity, investor relations and collateral development. As the Director of Corporate Communications for the publicly traded company, she managed the communications for product launches, and mergers and acquisitions to the press, industry analysts, investors and employees. Prior to her experiences in corporate communications, Stacey developed a solid foundation in marketing principals and execution through actively managing technology, hospitality, retail and political accounts at several of Washington DC's largest advertising agencies.

Stacey holds B.A. degrees in Communication and Architectural History from Syracuse University.
