Submit a Business Plan
We welcome the opportunity to review and discuss your business. If you would like to submit an executive summary or business plan to our investment team, please send the Microsoft Word document via email to plans@walkerventures.com. Please indicate which Fund(s) - Walker Investment Funds or Maryland Angels Council - you are interested in reviewing your plan. Please note that we have a preference for executive summaries as a first contact. If we need to see the plan before deciding on next steps, we will contact you. If you prefer to send a hard copy, please use the mailing address below and mark "ATTN: Business Summary/Plan For Review."
Please be advised that, due to our early-stage focus, we only invest in companies located in the Mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. Please include your name and address and full contact information, and be sure to include an email address if you send a hard copy.
Please make sure your plan or summary includes the following information:
- Company Overview - Business description and mission
- Product/Service Description
- Business Strategy
- Target Market/Market Opportunity
- Proprietary Technology/Intellectual Property
- Management - Include all advisors including legal advisor and auditor
- Competition
- Financial Summary - Current capitalization and forecast
Due to the large volume of business plans and executive summaries we receive, we may not be able to respond to each and every email right away. Business plans submitted to Walker Ventures will generally be acknowledged and reviewed within two weeks. Walker Ventures will not share the information with anyone outside of Walker Ventures and its immediate advisors without your consent.
